Dark setting, house/hip hop/r&b style music cecconi’s sets you up for an evening of fun. The bar is set at centre stage of the floor with the dj booth along side control the mood of the room.
The black and white tiled striped floors,orange tinted wood tones give Cecconi’s a retro feel. However the dimmed traditional light against the dark background of soho results in the feeling of the start to a fun evening.
The staff are encouraged to be themselves which adds to the experience. The pizzas are classic and full of flavour. I had the nduja pizza, ricotta and fresh mozzarella offset the meaty punchy flavour from the nujda, set on a light, full and crispy textured base.
Cecconi's is definitely the start of a fun evening right in the center of the effervescent soho.
