PLEASANT LADY

Jian Bing (Chinese crepe) Stall in Old Spitafields market

The Alfred Guide Tip

A little lunch pick up during a day out and about or a fun lunch alternative if you're in the area

Old Spitalfields Market, London E1 6EW

Old world mastery is the best way to describe this stall in Spitafields market. Quiet, unpretentious yet bustling is the scene as you stand at the front of the pleasant lady stall. Simple menu with not many thrills apart from what you receive at the end of the traders' craft.

A carefully contrived crepe hitting all the range of flavours and textures. From sweet/spicy to savory, a hint of freshness from the salad and a crunch from the crackling wedged into the crepe. It's a must try if you're in the area. I assure you that you will be back again for another.

I had the iberico pork filling in this delectable savory crepe. I've tried them all and they are all equally tasty, so it really depends on your personal preference.
