Just a little way down off Shoreditch high street in the ground floor of the tea building, Smoking Goat sits casually off Redchurch street. It may seem casual, but there is real attention put into the creation of their menu. Smoking goat embraces the relaxed vibe with a light buzz in the air and inset seating arrangement. Their philosophy combines authentic regional Thai cuisine with the best British produce. This results in a combination of flavours which are well balanced, deep and rich.
I had the chilli fish sauce wings for starters, sticky rice and the duck laarb. All of which were bold with interesting flavour combinations which caught me by surprise but were excellent.
